The pool is up!

We finally decided to set up the pool last weekend and it's finally warmed up enough to swim! Bryan and Jesse just went in for a little while today before Derek went to work, but I'm sure we'll use it a lot more in the next month!

The dog crate

We started putting Chet back in his crate because he's been chewing things up. He chewed up both of Jesse's nice brown sandals, they're completely ruined! He chewed the entire heel apart on my one and only pair of nice church shoes, he chewed up one of Malaya's tennis shoes that she wears most of the time, and he started to chew one of Derek's and one of Jesse's tennis shoes, but neither of those are completely ruined. He also chewed up our carpet which is gonna cost us a whole lot of money!!! RRRRR!

So when we got home we let him outside and then when I came back into the playroom, the kids were playing in his crate. LOL

Potty trained

I so wish this post was about Jesse!! But it’s not. It’s about our puppy. He’s pretty much all potty trained now and I’m so excited!! I thought it would take a lot longer since he’s only 4 months old. Now it’s time to get Jesse potty trained! I have just over 5 weeks until my due date so I better start training him soon!



Chet got so big while we were gone!!

We're home

We got home last Saturday, but we didn’t have internet so I couldn’t update the blog. We got internet hooked up on Wednesday, but I haven’t even taken my camera out of its bag until today so I didn’t have anything to post about.

We’re happy to be back at home but we miss Washington and everyone we saw there!! Derek loved it there and seriously wants to move there someday! Bryan misses Uncle Matt so much and he can’t wait to skype with him this weekend!!

We haven’t done anything since we got back but I took some pictures of the kids playing outside this morning.

Reunion T-shirts

On our way home

We’re at the hotel in Medford, OR right now. We left Mom’s house at 6 this morning and we got here around 3:30. The kids were great again!!!! Mel is with us this time and we can’t wait to get home! We wanted to just skip the hotel and keep driving, but since we’ve already paid for it, here we are.

I took the boys outside to run around when Derek went to get dinner and then we went swimming after dinner. Well they went swimming, not me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kayaking

Derek, Elyse, Art, Maurya, Hannah, and Matt went kayaking a few days ago. Elyse just got these pictures to me from the disposable camera they brought. Derek said it was a lot of fun and he wished they could have stayed out for longer.

Berry Picking

Today we went berry picking at the lavender farm. Bryan and Jesse each got their own buckets to put their strawberries and they were $1.50 a pound. Bryan started saying that his was getting so heavy so I thought we had a lot in there, but when they weighed his bucket to pay it was only 2 lbs. Malaya had a hard time picking them, but she really liked trying! We didn’t pick any lavender but we did get a lavender flower plant.

 

 

 

 

 

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma’s 80th birthday, but we celebrated last night because Maurya is leaving today. We had a BBQ with everyone at our house. Grandma was being so funny when we were all trying to take her picture. She doesn’t like pictures so she kept making funny faces and looking away, but we did get some cute ones!

We gave her a photo puzzle and I made her a birthday banner. We also got some streamers to decorate, but we didn’t start decorating until she was ready to eat cake and open presents. Elyse brought glow sticks and the kids (especially Bryan) loved playing with them!

Today is our last day in Sequim and we're so sad! We're going to the lavender and berry farm so I'll have more pictures later on tonight!
