Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!! The kids got so much great stuff and they’re loving playing with everything!

Dad brought his new doggy over and we love her!! She's so stinkin cute!! She's a toy poodle. Look how small she is compared to Princess.

This is what the living room looked like after Santa came!! Bryan got a mario kart track. Jesse got a power rangers costume set. Malaya got a princess castle tent and Tyler got a rocking horse.

Grandma Loriegot Malaya a big baby doll. It's the size of a real baby so it wears newborn size clothes instead of doll clothes. It's so cute and she really loves it!

Jesse got a garage for his hot wheels and Malaya's playing with her new doll house back there.

Bryan got a DS so this is what he looked like all day...and every day since!

Tyler was sick on Christmas so he needed extra love and cuddles!!

Bryan and Jesse both got these San Fransisco Giants hats. Bryan puts his on first thing in the morning and doesn't take it off until he lays down for bed.

Tyler loves anything he can push!!

Bryan tried to sneak Malaya into his bed one night. He didn't think I'd see her.

Jesse got these cool iron man jammies and he also got a pair with captain america. Bryan and Jesse both got dream lights too!

 

I have a lot more pictures and one of my goals for 2013 is to take more pictures. I think I’ll post about my goals in the next few days.

I also have to brag about how awesome my kids are!! They’ve been so grateful for everything they got! On Christmas night we were all talking right before bed and they all said thank you for all the presents and Jesse has said thank you for the presents in every prayer he’s said since Christmas!! They’re so sweet! I just love them!!!

Bryan's birthday

Wow! I can’t believe he’s 9 years old!! Bryan wanted a baseball themed birthday this year so we made him a baseball cake and he got some baseball gear from Grandma and Grandpa.

I don’t have any pictures of him opening presents because my camera died. (That seems to happen to me a lot) All I have are 2 pictures of his cake and a picture with his presents.

Jack left a little note and some cookie cutters to make cookies. He even made cookie dough and left it in the fridge for us!

The kids found Jack on the floor in the living room this morning with his buddy Woody. Looks like they had a nerf war last night!

The kids found Jack hiding in the pantry this morning. And he had built some snowmen out of marshmallows!!

Game night

Jack made some friends last night. When we woke up this morning, he was playing candyland with Malaya’s baby doll, Bryan’s baseball gnome, Jesse’s power ranger and Woody.

When we got home from church, we found Jack sitting at the table reading scriptures.

Meet Jack

One of Santa’s elves arrived at our house this morning to keep an eye on the kids for him. He brought a north pole breakfast and a book to explain to the kids what he’s here for!! For breakfast he brought snow balls and hot chocolate with ice bergs! (donut holes and big marshmallows) The kids got to name him and Bryan chose the name Jack.

If you haven’t heard of elf on the shelf before what he does is watch the kids during the day and then at night when they’re sleeping he goes back to the north pole to report to Santa. Then he’s back by the time the kids wake up and he’s in a new place and they have to find him. He could be hiding or he could be doing something silly or mischievous. I’ll post what Jack is up to every day until Christmas!
